Musical Background
Joanne has been playing guitar and singing for church choirs for
more than 25 years. She has continued her musical development
by studying piano and receiving formal vocal training. She received
her Kindermusik license in 2006.
Joanne shares her love of music:
”Guitar and music passion developed into a regular habit of leading community song circles and informal musical gatherings of friends. And I found that children were often the best music makers in the group as they were free to explore sounds without inhibitions! When our daughter came into our lives, my husband, Bob, and I rediscovered the power of music to grow the connection between parent and child. Inspired by our daughter’s responses to music, I pursued Kindermusik training as an educational tool for both parents and children.”
